Hey, Coty Schwabe here. Basically, the formula to making money with parked domains is this: don't use them. Some claim to make tons with them, but in my experience, they're just not worth it. Seriously. It took me a while to learn this, but blogs that are generating free content, traffic and links are much, much better.
Especially if you're driving that traffic to an affiliate's page. Just create a presell or review page on your landing page, then use your parked domains, and turn them into Wordpress.org blogs. Build these up with free content from sites like SeoLinkVine and http://myarticlenetwork.com. Use the blogroll area to link to your affiliate landing page, and you can also add some affiliate banners to that area in an HTML widget.
